Coffee Shown to Decrease Chances of Liver Disease & Liver Cancer

Coffee. Just the word will cause shivers of pleasure in most people. And everyone has a favorite way to drink it. Classic black. Cream, no sugar. Sugar, no cream. Plenty of both. Double caff extra hot triple foam caramel latte with an extra shot of espresso. Even the trendy new Bulletproof coffee, which is coffee mixed with butter and oil. But what is all of that coffee doing to you and your body? Every other week it seems we get a new report on either the dangers of drinking coffee (everyone you know grumbles and hugs their favorite travel mugs and promises to never let them go) or how coffee is the panacea we’ve all been searching for (everyone you know skips happily to the nearest Starbucks and proudly returns with their prize). Lavazza Crema e Gusto Recipe

Lavazza’s label reads “Italy’s favorite coffee.” This may seem like a bold claim at first; however, after one sip of this full flavored coffee, you will understand why they make such a claim. The secret to Lavazza’s Crema e Gusto’s smooth and bold flavor lies in its perfect combination of robusta and arabica beans. As robusta beans are cheap to produce, low quality coffee brands will be made of 100 percent robusta beans. However, this amount of potency most certainly compromises the flavor. Lavazza’s balance of 30 percent arabica beans and 70 percent robusta beans makes for a still very potent coffee, yet unlike it’s cheap counterparts, it does not compromise an ounce of flavor. Your taste buds will be titillated with delicious accents of vanilla and chocolate and virtually no bitter flavor. It is the perfect coffee to sip on its own; however, if drinking a cup a day […]

Real Coffee Guru’s can take it dark and black, in fact, they prefer it that way. Many people drink coffee simply for the caffeine or the sugar rush or maybe even just the seasonal flavors. A Coffee Guru will ditch the creamers, flavoring syrups, and sugar packets and just drink it and enjoy the rich taste of a ground coffee bean. Coffee Makers Matter! Your coffee maker tells a person a lot about you. When it comes down to it, you use it every single day, so why spend $20 every few months to get a new one when you can spend a couple hundred once and have […]

The Healthy Benefits of Coffee

Coffee, at one point in time not so long ago, was considered a vice. Something that held very little benefit and was thought to actually do more harm than good. This was the theory for a number of years until very recently, when some studies have shown that regular coffee drinkers, both decaf and regular, were showing signs of some actual protective benefits from the bitter bean. According to a study published in the “Circulation” journal, those coffee drinkers who consume up to five cups per day showed lower incidence of heart problems and complications from heart attacks, as well as a lowered risk of neurological diseases and Type 2 diabetes. The study observed 168,000 women and 40,000 men over a period of 30 years, making it unique in it’s size and length. It also compared coffee drinkers who were smokers and drinkers of alcohol to those who are not, […]
